Superb value for money |
I ordered this player after my long in the tooth Samsung finally gave up the ghost, the reviews and price swinging it.The most important features for me were *Multi-region out of the box, no hacks to fiddle about with. *Picture-Excellent *Sound-More than excellent, rigged up to my 5.1 system its a joy! Set-up is dead easy using the remote, sound is connected to my Surround amp via a digital co-axial, picture via s-vhs to scart. The first thing I checked was the compatibility of discs, no problem with R1, R4 (Finding Nemo) or dvd-rs (which my Sammy 709 would spit out!) All in all Im one very happy movie fan! (Oh and heres the math, my Sammy 709 cost me £250 nearly 5 years ago, this far superior machine cost me £160 LESS!! thats the cost of 10 DVDs!!!)

Great Unit, |

360 and 464 are both great budget players especially multi-region ones, however if not to bothered about the overall design of the players, would go for the 360 as its cheaper and the specs are the same as the 464. The 464 just has a different design to match one of pioneer av receivers,

Christmas with "Finding Nemo" |
My old Panasonic DVD player broke after 18 months, I paid £150 at the time and was not happy.I was keen to get the "Finding Nemo" DVD for my son this Christmas. I was also keen to spend less money than before and get a multi-region player with more functionality. The DVD player turned up on time and worked straight out of the box - perfect. I ordered a region 1 DVD of "Finding Nemo" from amazon as well to test out the multi-region functionality. It worked perfect!!!!! Very happy
